Lidoband Castration Bands for Calves and Lambs delivers lidocaine as a local anesthetic to help reduce pain during castration. Each castration band contains 80-mg of lidocaine and a skin permeation enhancer which allows the anesthesia to enter the scrotal tissue at 2 hours post-application and lasts up to 42 days. Recommended for use in calves up to 250-lbs and lambs up to 50-lbs. The Lidoband Castration Band minimizes administration injections and handling costs for the producer. Promotes animal welfare and economic benefits, including increased average daily weight gain. Packaged in an easy-to-use blister-pack for easy administration without touching the band. Be sure to wear gloves while administering Lidoband.
Directions: Use a commercial band applicator (not included) and remember to wear gloves. Apply Lidoband; after 3-6 weeks of reduced blood circulation, the testes fall off on their own. Find helpful application video below!

I bought these to use as collars for alpacas. By connecting 2-3 together you can easily cut to adjust and leave room for fleece growth. Sharpie works great to write their name. Colors can be used to ID sex and any conditions - pregnancy, special diet, etc.

The clippers work great on my Black Russian Terrier. Great price at Houlihan. When it arrived the blue Clipper cover was not attached and the screws were missing. I had to order screws from a clipper repair service and with that shipping charge the cost of the clipper was back up to what other sellers charge.
