Ketone Test Strips provide a quick, accurate way to test for ketosis in animals. When exposed to ketones in urine, the test pad reacts and changes color. The test strip may then be compared to the color chart on the bottle to identify ketone levels.

Sample preparation:
•Put the urine specimen into a urine collection cup or clean container
•Immerse the reagent pad area of the strip in the urine specimen and
withdraw immediately. Remove excess urine by brushing strip against the
rim of the specimen container
•Hold the strip(s) horizontally. Read test results after 40 second, then
compare the test area with the color chart on the bottle
•Record results immediately
•If unexpected or abnormal results are observed, re-read instructions
and retest

I bought these to use as collars for alpacas. By connecting 2-3 together you can easily cut to adjust and leave room for fleece growth. Sharpie works great to write their name. Colors can be used to ID sex and any conditions - pregnancy, special diet, etc.

The clippers work great on my Black Russian Terrier. Great price at Houlihan. When it arrived the blue Clipper cover was not attached and the screws were missing. I had to order screws from a clipper repair service and with that shipping charge the cost of the clipper was back up to what other sellers charge.
