An oral solution used as aid in the treatment and prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria bovis and E. zuernii in calves. Medicated drinking water is palatable and readily accepted by calves.

Size: Gallon

INDICATIONS: An aid in the treatment and prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria bovis and E. zuernii in calves. For a satisfactory diagnosis a microscopic examination of the feces should be done before treatment. When treating outbreaks, drug should be administered promptly after diagnosis is determined.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

USE DIRECTIONS: There are 96 mg of amprolium in every 1 mL of Cocci-Cure® C FOR CALVES.

5-Day Treatment Protocol

Daily Dosage: 10 mg amprolium/kg (10 mg per 2.2 lb body weight)

21-Day Prevention Protocol

Daily Dosage: 5 mg amprolium/kg (5 mg per 2.2 lb body weight)

1 fl oz = 29.57 mL

1 fl oz = 2 measuring tablespoonfuls

8 fl oz = 1/2 pint (236.56 mL)

16 fl oz = 1 pint (473.12 mL)

IN DRINKING WATER: Mix Cocci-Cure® C FOR CALVES daily with fresh drinking water.

5-DAY TREATMENT: Add Cocci-Cure® C FOR CALVES to drinking water at the rate of 16 fl oz/100 gal. At the usual rate of water consumption this will provide an intake of approximately 10 mg amprolium/kg (2.2 lb) body weight. Offer this solution as the only source of water for 5 days. Use on a herd basis only; when one or more calves show signs of coccidiosis, it is likely that the rest of the group has been exposed, and all calves in the group should be treated.

21-DAY PREVENTION: During periods of exposure or when experience indicates that coccidiosis is likely to be a hazard, add Cocci-Cure® C FOR CALVES to drinking water at the rate of 8 fl oz/100 gal. At usual rates of water consumption, this will provide an intake of approximately 5 mg amprolium/kg (2.2 lb) body weight. Offer this solution as the only source of water for 21 days.

AS A DRENCH: Cocci-Cure® C FOR CALVES drench solutions may be stored in a clean, closed, labeled container for up to 3 days.

5-DAY TREATMENT: Add 3 fl oz Cocci-Cure® C FOR CALVES to 1 pt (16 oz) of water and, with a dose syringe, give 1 fl oz of this drench solution for each 100 lb (45 kg) body weight. This will provide a dose of approximately 10 mg amprolium/kg (2.2 lb) body weight. Give daily for 5 days. Use on a herd basis only; when one or more calves show signs of coccidiosis, it is likely that the rest of the group has been exposed, and all calves in the group should be treated.

21-DAY PREVENTION: During periods of exposure or when experience indicates that coccidiosis is likely to be a hazard, add 1 1/2 fl oz of Cocci-Cure® C FOR CALVES to 1 pt (16 fl oz) of water and, with a dose syringe, give 1 fl oz of this drench solution for each 100 lb (45 kg) body weight. TETANUS TOXOID-CONCENTRATED

Colorado Serum

Adjuvanted

GENERAL INFORMATION: This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy horses, cattle, sheep, goats, and swine against tetanus. This product was licensed prior to the requirement to establish a minimum age for use. The duration of immunity is unknown. For more information regarding efficacy and safety data, see productdata.aphis.usda.gov.

Safety in pregnant animals is unknown.

Tetanus Toxoid is prepared by detoxifying tetanus toxin in such a manner as to allow the antigenic properties to remain intact. Product is purified, concentrated and adjuvanted to provide a low dose effective immunizing agent.

Each serial is tested for purity, safety, and potency in accordance with USDA requirements.

Tetanus is caused by a neurotoxin produced by growth of Clostridium tetani, an anaerobic (lives without air) micro-organism, in necrotic tissue. Affected animals become stiff, have difficulty swallowing, and have an increased pulse rate. Breathing is labored. Spasmodic contractions of the muscular system occur, such as contracting muscles of the jaw.

Spasmodic contractions of the muscular system occur, such as contracting muscles of the jaw. Thus, the term “lockjaw” is often used. Legs and tail are often stiff with abdominal muscles contracted. Tetanus stricken animals may be unusually sensitive to light and heat. Temperature of the animal generally remains normal, elevating only shortly before death.

Protective antibody levels usually occur about two weeks after the second injection of the primary immunization series. In contrast, administration of Tetanus Antitoxin is recommended for immediate, emergency, passive treatment of exposed animals with unknown vaccination history or with signs of tetanus infection.

DIRECTIONS: Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Store at 2-8° C. Do not freeze. Do not mix with other products. Shake well before use. Use entire contents when first opened.

PRECAUTIONS: A transitory local reaction may occur at injection site. Anaphylactoid reaction may occur following administration of products of this nature. If noted, administer adrenalin or equivalent. In case of human exposure, consult a physician.

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION: For primary immunization, two doses should be administered subcutaneously or intramuscularly approximately 30 days apart. Use intramuscularly for horses as local reactions are more likely to occur if injected subcutaneously.

Horses: 1 ml IM

Cattle: 1 ml SC or IM

Sheep, Goats, Swine: 0.5 ml SC or IM

Historically, annual single dose revaccination has been recommended. Contact veterinarian for advice.

OTHER INFORMATION: Contains thimerosal and formalin as preservatives. Tetanus Toxoid Concentrate is available in single dose size packaged 10 vials to the carton, and in 10 dose vials.
