Transition Calcium Boluses

Transition Calcium Boluses are fast-dissolving oral calcium supplement for cows intended for the transition period. Easy to administer and safe for the animal. Prepares cows to enter the milking herd in a normal time frame. Each bolus contains immediate release calcium and sustained release calcium to help combat milk fever and other common metabolic complications before they start. Also provides vitamin D, which is necessary for the absorption and metabolism of calcium and phosphorous. 

Using a patented process, high concentrations of nutrients are liquefied, hardened and compressed into a single, quick-dissolution bolus. Application advantages include no sharp edges or surfaces. No palatability issues common with drenches and pastes, and no withdrawal period.
