To determine what size Tough1 hoof boot your horse needs you will want to consider the following:

1. Will you be using the hoof boot with or without a wrap?
   If your horse’s hoof will be wrapped and then put into the boot you will want to size up.
2. When was your horse’s hoof last trimmed?
   For best fit, you need to measure the hoof after it’s been trimmed.
3. Which hoof will you be using the boot on?
   It is possible for your horse's hooves to vary in size, so be sure to measure the hoof you plan to use the boot with.

How to Measure:

Use the instructions below to measure your horse's hoof. Then compare those measurements with the sizing chart of the hoof boot you are looking to purchase. If your measurements do not fit within a size range on the chart, move up to the next size.

Width: Measure the sole from one side of the hoof wall to the opposite side, at the widest point of the hoof.

Length: Measure the sole from the toe to the heel, measuring only where weight is being supported (do not include the heel bulb).
