(a) One Dextranizing Unit (DU) or (SKB), unit of alpha-Amylase activity is defined as the amount of enzyme that will dextrinize starch at a rate of 1 g per hr at 30°C.
(b) One Cellulose Unit (CU) is defined as the amount of enzyme required to reduce the viscosity of a 5% of a defined carboxymethylcellulose substrate under the conditions of the assay.
(c) One Lactase Unit (LacU) is defined as the amount of enzyme required to liberate 1 µmol of nitrophenol per minute under the conditions of the assay.
(d) One Lipase Unit (LU) is defined as the amount of enzyme required to the equivalent of 1 µmol of acid per minute from the substrate under the conditions of the assay
(e) One HUT unit of proteolytic (Protease) is defined as the amount of enzyme that produces, in 1 minute at the specified conditions, a hydrolysate whose absorbance at 275nm is the same as a solution containing 1.1µg per ml of 0.006 N hydrodoric acid.
Suggested Use: Two (2) tablets per 20 lbs. of body weight daily for the first four weeks. One (1) tablet per 20 lbs. of body weight daily after four week period. Continue as needed.

For animal use only. Accidental overdose may cause vomiting, disorientation or unsteady, uncoordinated walking. In case of an overdose, contact a veterinarian immediately. An examination from a veterinarian is recommended prior to using this product. Do not feed to animals that have an illness that predisposes them to acidosis. Use only the recommended dosage. Grass Guard Max should not be given to dogs with severe liver or kidney dysfunction or animals exhibiting signs of acidosis. Contains a source of live (viable) naturally occurring microorganisms.
Do not use if product appears to be tampered with. Store product in cool, dry place. Avoid temperatures above 86° F. Keep out of reach of children and pets to avoid unintended consumption.This product is intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only.
