This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy swine, including pregnant sows and gilts, 3 weeks of age or older against respiratory disease caused by swine influenza A virus (SIV) types H1N1, H1N2, and H3N2, and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae; and erysipelas caused by Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae. A duration of immunity of at least 10 weeks has been demonstrated against SIV type H3N2, at least 25 weeks against M. hyopneumoniae, and at least 20 weeks against E. rhusiopathiae. Duration of immunity of the remaining fractions has not been established. For more information regarding efficacy and safety data, go to productdata.aphis.usda.gov.

This product contains the following influenza A virus isolates: A/Swine/Iowa/110600/2000 (H1N1); A/Swine/Oklahoma/0726H/2008 (H1N2); A/Swine/North Carolina/ 394/2012 (H3N2); and A/Swine/Minnesota/872/2012 (H3N2).

Directions: Shake diluent before use. Aseptically rehydrate the freeze-dried vaccine with the liquid bacterin provided, shake well, and administer 2 mL intramuscularly. Administer a single 2-mL dose to healthy swine, followed by a single dose of FluSure XP/ER Bac Plus approximately 3 weeks later. In young pigs, vaccinate after maternally derived antibodies to SIV and E. rhusiopathiae have declined. For advice on revaccination, contact your veterinarian or the manufacturer.

Precautions: Store at 2°-8°C. Prolonged exposure to higher temperatures and/or direct sunlight may adversely affect potency. Do not freeze. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Contains gentamicin and thimerosal as preservatives. Do not mix with other products, except as specified above.
