First Colostrum Newborn Calf is a 100% natural bovine colostrum powder that provides passive immunity to newborn calves when maternal colostrum is inadequate or quality is not certain. Offers protection against severe diarrhea and mortality associated with K99 E. coli. USDA-approved supplement to provide 50 g of immunoglobulins per dose. Used to aid in the treatment of failure of passive transfer in newborn calves. Also guarantees one full dose of E. coli antibody along with 50 grams of bovine origin IgG in a 350-gram feeding. Suitable only for the neonatal calves on their first or second feeding of colostrum.
First Colostrum Newborn Calf Directions:
Mix 1 packet with 1.5 quarts clean, warm water. Feed by bottle, pail or esophageal feeder during first 24 hours of life.
Dosage:
Mix one package (350 g) supplement into 1.5 quarts (1419 ml) of clean, warm water 100-110°F (38-43°C). Feed to calf by bottle, pail or esophageal feeder.
