Express 5 cattle vaccine is a modified-live vaccine for the vaccination of healthy, adult cattle and calves. An aid in the prevention of respiratory disease caused by Bovine Rhinotracheitis (IBR) virus, Bovine Virus Diarrhea (BVD) Types 1 and 2, Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus (BRSV), and as an aid in the reduction of respiratory disease caused by Parainfluenza 3 (PI3) virus. Modified live IBR-BVD Types 1 & 2-PI3-BRSV Vaccine.Â
This is not just another 4-way live vaccine! Express actually has Type 2 BVD strains in it rather than relying only on cross-protection from its Type 1 BVD strain. Provides extremely high titers and broad effective coverage for BVD. Stimulates a strong immune response against IBR. For use in cattle of all ages. Excellent respiratory vaccine for youngstock vaccine programs.
May be used in pregnant females, or calves nursing pregnant females, provided the females were vaccinated pre-breeding according to the label directions with any Express FP vaccine.

Directions for Use:Â
Mix the accompanying bottle of diluent. Rehydrate the vaccine by aseptically adding the diluent to the vaccine vial. Mix the rehydrated vaccine and use immediately. Using aseptic technique, inject 2 mL subcutaneously in front of the shoulder and midway of the neck, away from the suprascapular lymph node. If initial vaccination, repeat with any Express vaccine containing BRSV MLV in 14 to 28 days. Contact your veterinarian or the manufacturer for information on revaccination frequency.
Precautions:Â
Store out of direct sunlight at 35-46°F (2-8°C). Do not freeze. Do not mix with other products, except as specified on the label. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Injection site swelling may occur. Stressed cattle should not be vaccinated. In case of anaphylactoid reaction, administer epinephrine. In case of human exposure, contact a physician. Inactivate unused contents before disposal.
Fetal health risks associated with vaccination of pregnant animals with this vaccine cannot be unequivocally determined by clinical trials conducted for licensure. Appropriate strategies to address the risks associated with vaccine use in pregnant animals should be discussed with a veterinarian.
