Bar-Vac 7/Somnus is a 7-way vaccine for healthy cattle to protect against disease caused by Clostridium chauvoei (blackleg), Cl. septicum (malignant edema), Cl. novyi (black disease), Cl. sordellii (gas gangrene) and Cl. perfringens Types C and D (enterotoxemia). Aids in the prevention of respiratory disease caused by Haemophilus somnus. This is a proven and economical vaccine.
Meets BQA guidelines for subcutaneous administration. Producers can help eliminate the chance of tissue damage, common with intramuscular injections, and rest easy knowing that they're controlling clostridial disease with this proven formulation.

Directions for Use:Â
Mix well before use. Using aseptic technique, inject 5 mL subcutaneously. Repeat in 21 to 28 days. Contact your veterinarian or the manufacturer for information on revaccination frequency.
Precautions:Â
Store out of direct sunlight at 35-46°F (2-8°C). Do not freeze. Do not mix with other products. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Transient swelling may occur at the injection site. In case of anaphylactoid reaction, administer epinephrine. This product has not been tested in pregnant animals. In case of human exposure, contact a physician immediately.
